Happy New Year!

We hope you had a joyous holiday season, wish you all the best for the New Year, and look forward to our continued relationship in 2013!

The Year Ahead for the Intersocietal Accreditation Commission (IAC)

In 2013, the INTERSOCIETAL ACCREDITATION COMMISSION (IAC) has committed to continuing its dedication to streamlining the accreditation process. The IAC has identified the following actions as ways in which it will evolve in the coming months:

+ Highlighting facilities that are taking quality patient care to higher levels.
+ Developing new tools and resources that facilities can use to educate patients.
     + Launching mobile-optimized websites.
+ Providing sample policies and procedures online.
+ Offering quick polls and surveys to participating facilities, continuing to give facilities a voice in the
        accreditation process.

We hope you will take advantage of these new resources from the IAC. Please contact IAC or visit their website for further information, or email Caryn Nolen, NationalRad's Director of Quality Assurance (QA) and Chief Radiologic Technologist, with any questions at CNOLEN@NATIONALRAD.COM.
