Change Your NationalRad Web Portal Idle Time in Five Easy Steps!

Did you know that you can change the length of idle time allowed by NationalRad's Web Portal before it automatically logs you out? By default, idle time is set to 15 minutes. If you want more idle time before the portal logs you out, increase this time by adjusting your web preferences.

Here is how to do it:

   1. Log in to the Referring Physician Portal - https://images.nationalrad.com/portal.
   2. Click the Profile link at the top right of the screen.
   3. Place a check mark in the Use custom timeout check box.
   4. In the available text box, enter the number of minutes of idle time you want the portal to allow before logging
you out. For example, enter 60 in order to remain logged in for 1 hour.
   5. Click the Save button.

If you have any questions about changing your idle time, please contact our IT department at 877.734.6674.

For more helpful IT hints, please remember to check the newsletter every month.

TechNews

TechNews Is a Hit!

In March, NationalRad starting putting out a monthly newsletter called TechNews to communicate with technologists. The newsletter has quickly become a hit! In addition to receiving educational updates and information on interesting articles and resources like imaging apps, rad techs have the chance to win a $15 Starbucks gift card by answering an imaging question correctly.

We are hearing great feedback from techs around the country! They are not only having fun with the quiz, but also learning and sparking conversations with their doctors to answer the quiz correctly together.

TechNews is sent via email on the first Monday of every month. The first tech to answer the question correctly wins! Make sure your techs are involved by sending their email address to Caryn Nolen, NationalRad's Director of Quality Assurance (QA) and Chief Radiologic Technologist, at CNOLEN@NATIONALRAD.COM.
