Andres Rahal, MD, PhD

Musculoskeletal Radiologist

Dr. Rahal joined NationalRad in 2012. He is an assistant professor of musculoskeletal radiology at The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, San Antonio, Texas, a position he has held since 2007.

Dr. Rahal has received numerous awards for his research and educational exhibits in the field of musculoskeletal radiology, including certificates of merit from the American Roentgen Ray Society (ASSR) and the Radiological Society of North America (RSNA) and young investigator awards from the Society of Skeletal Radiology (SSR). In addition, Dr. Rahal’s work has appeared in publications such as Radiology, the American Journal of Radiology (AJR), the Journal of Magnetic Resonance Imaging, and Foot and Ankle Specialist
