Monique A. Mogensen, MD


Dr. Mogensen joined NationalRad in 2011. Prior to joining NationalRad, Dr. Mogensen served as an assistant professor of clinical radiology in the division of neuroradiology at the University of Southern California Keck School of Medicine, Los Angeles, California, where she also chaired the radiation safety committee for the University Hospital. Dr. Mogensen has also held such positions as clinical instructor in the department of radiology—division of neuroradiology at Stanford University Medical Center, Stanford, California, as well as attending staff radiologist in the Veterans Administration Palo Alto Health Care System in Palo Alto, California. Dr. Mogensen is an active member of the American College of Radiology (ACR) and a senior member of the American Society of Neuroradiology (ASNR). 

Dr. Mogensen has conducted research in the fields of radiology and neuroradiology at the University of Southern California, Stanford University and Mallinckrodt Institute of Radiology, St. Louis, Missouri. Her work has appeared in such peer reviewed publications as the American Journal of Neuroradiology (AJNR), the Journal of Pediatric Neurology (JPNR), the European Journal of Radiology (EJR), the Journal of Computer Assisted Tomography (JCAT), the Journal of Ultrasound in Medicine, Technology in Cancer Research & Treatment (TCRT), the Western Journal of Emergency Medicine, and World Neurosurgery. She has previously presented her work at the Radiological Society of North America (RSNA), the ASNR, the American Roentgen Ray Society (ARRS) and the Society for Neuroscience (SFN) annual meetings and has served as a faculty member at the American Society of Spine Radiology annual meeting. Dr. Mogensen has received numerous awards and honors for her work, including a Certificate of Merit for an Educational Exhibit at the ARRS 105th Annual Meeting.
