NationalRad Introduces New PACS System
We are excited to announce that we initiated implementation of a new PACS infrastructure here at NationalRad in late September. This is a project that we have been working on for quite some time, and we have seen tremendous improvements in our technology and workflow as a result. We are excited to finally be able to bring some of these benefits to our clients as well.
As part of our new PACS infrastructure, we will have an improved client web site for our referring facilities to access patient reports. Some improvements include more responsive queries, enhanced image viewing capability, email alerts and PDF download of reports. While the new web site is extremely intuitive, we have a quick start guide that includes some very basic instructions for the first time you visit the site, which you should have received from Elaine Bresnahan via email during the last week of September. If you did not receive Elaine's email, please contact her at ebresnahan@nationalrad.com.
Patient reports should now be available on our new system. You can click on the following link or enter our new URL in your browser to access the system: https://clients.nationalrad.com/portal. Usernames and password are the same as on the previous site.
Elaine will keep you up-to-date on our PACS upgrade. If you should have any questions or need any assistance, please contact her. We thank you for your patience during this transition period and look forward to hearing your feedback when you are up and running on the new PACS system.
