TIMOTHY J. MOSHER, MD, NationalRad Musculoskeletal Radiologist and Professor of Radiology, Professor of Orthopaedics and Rehabilitation, Vice Chair of Radiology Research, Chief of Musculoskeletal Radiology, and Chief of MRI Clinical Service Unit at Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center, has a new publication out in the CLINICS OF SPORTS MEDICINE this July. Dr. Mosher and Robert A. Gallo, MD of the Department of Orthopaedics at the Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center wrote a review article entitled IMAGING OF CARTILAGE AND OSTEOCONDRAL INJURIES: A CASE-BASED REVIEW, which summarizes technical factors for optimal MRI evaluation of articular cartilage of the knee. In June, Dr. Mosher presented 'Clinical Imaging of Total Hip Arthroplasty Components and Complications' to Zimmer, Inc. in Warsaw, IN.
PAUL M. SHERMAN, MD, NationalRad Neuroradiologist, Assistant Professor of Radiology and Radiologic Science at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences, F. Edward Herbert School of Medicine and Assistant Director of Medical Education and Diagnostic Radiology Residency Program Director at the San Antonio Uniformed Services Health Education Consortium, will be the principal investigator in a new IRB research study entitled 'MRI abnormalities in a miniature swine (Sus scrofa domesticus) model with altitude chamber exposure to barometric pressure of 30,000 feet' that was just approved in June. We will look forward to seeing Dr. Sherman's new research.
