Are You Ready for ICD-10?
Introducing the 10 Months of ICD-10!
Only 10 months remain until October 2014, and ICD-9 is replaced with ICD-10. We're counting down the months with tips each month to help our clients prepare for the transition.
ICD-10 Tip No. 1
Review the AMA's ICD-10 ACTION PLAN and, if you haven't done so already, start familiarizing yourself with the new ICD-10 requirements. In order to be ready for the October deadline, it may be helpful to identify a ICD-10 transition leader and make contact with relevant vendors to learn and coordinate their action plans and timeframes.
To learn more about ICD-10, visit the AMA's website for helpful resources: ICD-10 CODE SET.
