Paul M. Sherman, MD SAUSHEC Program Director of the Year & Gold Headed Cane Award Finalist
PAUL M. SHERMAN, MD, NationalRad Neuroradiologist, Associate Professor of Radiology at the F. Edward Herbert School of Medicine at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences and Assistant Director of Medical Education and Diagnostic Radiology Residency Program Director at the San Antonio Uniformed Services Health Education Consortium (SAUSHEC) received two outstanding recognitions recently.
In June, Dr. Sherman received the Colonel John D. Roscelli Award for SAUSHEC Program Director of the Year and was named a Top 5 Finalist for the 59th Medical Wing and Brooke Army Medical Center's Gold Headed Cane Award. The Gold Headed Cane Award recognizes clinicians earning “Grand Master” status for contributions to clinical medicine, education and research.

Jumpstart the ICD-10 Transition with the CMS's Roadto10.org
The Center's for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) has created a new tool to help small medical practices transition to ICD-10. Called ROAD TO 10, the new tool offers general information on ICD-10, specialty references and information, and an action plan building tool.
The Road to 10's ORTHOPEDICS REFERENCES section provides common orthopaedic codes, a primer for clinical documentation, clinical scenarios, and training and education resources.
