Dr. Rahal joined NationalRad in 2012. He is an assistant professor of radiology in the section of musculoskeletal radiology, the associate program director for resident research, the director of musculoskeletal ultrasonography, the clinical manager of musculoskeletal magnetic resonance imaging modality and a member of the institutional review board at the The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, San Antonio, Texas.
Dr. Rahal has received numerous awards for his research in the field of musculoskeletal radiology, including multiple certificates of merit from the American Roentgen Ray Society (ASSR) and the Radiological Society of North America (RSNA) and young investigator awards from the Society of Skeletal Radiology (SSR). In addition, Dr. Rahal’s work has appeared in such publications as the American Journal of Radiology (AJR), the Journal of Magnetic Resonance Imaging, Radiology and Foot and Ankle Specialist.
